Oppie Nationals at Largs
A great week was had by Martin and Celine at the Optimist Nationals at Largs sailing club. Martin entered the Junior Fleet, Celine had a great time in the Regatta fleet. Regatta fleet was more relaxed and went Dolphin watching when there was not enough wind for racing and saw a basking shark! They also went for a picnic on Cumbrae island, Florence tagged along with Dan the Welsh coach on the rib, Olympic three times gold medalist Ben Ainslie joined them for a sing-a-long. Celine had her bouyancy aid signed and enjoyed every minute. The coaches were great the sailors had the time of their lives. Martin had a great time with very close racing, teams from Ireland, Spain, USA, UAE and France taking part. Mum, Dad & Morgan enjoyed it too!
