Dinghy Berthing Plan
Low subscription rates are set to widen access to our sport to all parts of the community.
Rates remain very low because we draw upon the voluntary efforts of many committed members for the upkeep and development of the Club – and requests for help are made in this context.
Members are asked to lend a hand at the “working parties” at the beginning and end of the season – to set-up and put-away the site – and also to participate in maintenance projects during the season.
Part of your membership agreement is a commitment to assist and participate in Officer of the Day, Assistant Race Officer or Safety Boat Officer duties – all of these are essential to the running of the club – and enable us not to need to employ professional staff. We do everything possible to help “the uninitiated.”

Berthing Fees
Berths are valid between the scheduled start and end of the sailing season. A penalty of £40 is levied on boat owners for boats that have not been removed by 30 November 2012.

(Optimists for juniors may be stored externally on site at no cost)
Members are reminded that all boats MUST carry a membership number on the transom and the boat cover.
Members who reserve a berth are provided with a simple letter and number code. A large detailed plan is provided in the Club changing rooms.
